Dr. Anne Rogers

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine - Owner

Anne grew up in Pender Harbour, BC on an acreage with horses, chickens, dogs and cats. She knew from an early age that she wanted to be a veterinarian. After three years in the faculty of Agriculture at UBC, she was admitted to the WCVM in Saskatoon. She received her veterinary degree in 1999.

After graduating from vet school, Dr Rogers worked in Ogema SK until early 2003. In February of 2003 she started at the Edson Veterinary Clinic.  In 2010 she became a partner. Dr Rogers loves the variety and challenge of mixed practice. Cattle work and feline medicine are special interests. She really enjoys getting to know the clients and their families, and working with them to improve the health of their animals.

Dr Rogers sits on several boards, including the WCABP, the Food Animal Advisory Committee of the ABVMA, and the CABV. She has volunteered with various organizations within the community, including several years with the Kinette Club. She speaks to the local 4H groups each year. Teaching students from both veterinary colleges has been a big part of clinic life the last few years as well.

Dr Rogers and her husband Neil have two busy boys, Glen and Brody. The family participates in trail running in the summer, and hockey in the winter.  They enjoy skiing and snowshoeing when not at the rink.  Competing in Endurance riding on her horse, Ibn, is another passion.

Dr. Taylor Sobchuk

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist - Owner

Dr. Sobchuk has been working at the Edson Veterinary Clinic for 10 years. Growing up in a small town in Northwestern Ontario, she knew she wanted to be a veterinarian since a young age. The small community of Red Lake provided lots of outdoor activities and even horse back riding. In her last year of high school her family moved to Thunder Bay where she had more riding opportunities, the chance to attend SHAD Valley and further her love of the veterinary profession.

Taylor was accepted to the Ontario Veterinary College after completing 2 years at the University of Manitoba under the Agricultural Faculty. After graduation in 2009, she moved from Red Lake, Ontario to Edson.

Taylor has a special interest in equine and canine medicine and obtained her Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist certification in September of 2017 after a year of study.

When she is not working, she enjoys training her chocolate labs Gauge, Rim and Epic to compete in agility, flyball and dock diving. Her dogs have earned several titles in each sport. She also enjoys horseback riding and the great outdoors.

Dr. Eiry Spence

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Associate

Eiry started her schooling in Forestry and completed her Masters Degree in Forestry in 2002.  She then followed her life long dream of becoming a veterinarian and completed her Veterinary Medicine at the University of Calgary in 2014.

Eiry has a special interest in dentistry and ophthalmology.  She enjoys working with horses, small animals, chickens, goats, sheep and the odd pig!

When they aren't chasing their adorable little boy, Berwyn, around, Eiry and her husband are busy caring for the chickens, horses, resident goats, dog and cats on their little farm.  They also keep bees and harvest honey to sell every fall.

Eiry enjoys trail riding in the mountains, skiing, reading and playing guitar in her limited free time.

Dr. Yasmine Voegeli

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Associate

Yasmine grew up on a dairy farm outside of Didsbury, Alberta.  She completed an undergraduate degree in Animal Biology at the University of Alberta prior to starting her DVM at the University of Calgary.  She completed her DVM in the spring of 2019 and she enjoys working with both large and small animals.  She likes to read, snowboard, bake and has recently gotten back into running.
