MEET OUR DOCTORS
Dr. Anne Rogers
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine - Owner
Anne grew up in Pender Harbour, BC on an acreage with horses, chickens, dogs and cats. She knew from an early age that she wanted to be a veterinarian. After three years in the faculty of Agriculture at UBC, she was admitted to the WCVM in Saskatoon. She received her veterinary degree in 1999.
After graduating from vet school, Dr Rogers worked in Ogema SK until early 2003. In February of 2003 she started at the Edson Veterinary Clinic. In 2010 she became a partner. Dr Rogers loves the variety and challenge of mixed practice. Cattle work and feline medicine are special interests. She really enjoys getting to know the clients and their families, and working with them to improve the health of their animals.
Dr Rogers sits on several boards, including the WCABP, the Food Animal Advisory Committee of the ABVMA, and the CABV. She has volunteered with various organizations within the community, including several years with the Kinette Club. She speaks to the local 4H groups each year. Teaching students from both veterinary colleges has been a big part of clinic life the last few years as well.
Dr Rogers and her husband Neil have two busy boys, Glen and Brody. The family participates in trail running in the summer, and hockey in the winter. They enjoy skiing and snowshoeing when not at the rink. Competing in Endurance riding on her horse, Ibn, is another passion.
Dr. Jordan Laird (Bremmekamp)
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine - Owner
Jordan grew up locally on a cattle ranch at Shiningbank Lake. She spent many years involved with the Peers 4-H Multi Club and graduated from Holy Redeemer High School. She went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2014. After spending 7 months in Texas completing a mixed animal internship Jordan returned home and spent the next 4 years working for the Mayerthorpe and Hilltop Veterinary Clinics. Now after returning from maternity leave, Jordan is very excited to be joining our team here in Edson and is looking forward to meeting new people and reconnecting with old friends.
Dr. Eiry Spence
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, MSc, Owner
Eiry grew up in the Edmonton Area and spent her younger years heavily involved in the equine world and her local 4-H club where she showed both horses and dogs. She completed an undergraduate degree in Forestry at the University of Alberta and a Masters Degree in Forestry at the University of New Brunswick before following her veterinary passion at the University of Calgary. Eiry has now been working in mixed practice for 7 years. Her interests are wide and varied and include equine, small animal and even some more unusual pets such as pigs, snakes and rabbits. She is a fear free certified practitioner and strives to make appointments low stress and enjoyable for all. Eiry’s spare time is spent chasing after her two little boys and tending to a myriad of animals and plants at home with her husband, Ben.
Dr. Patti Sinclair
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Associate
Patti grew up in St. Albert, Alberta. She attended the University of Alberta and WCVM and graduated in 1994. She has spent most of her career doing small animal locums in Alberta . She enjoys spending time with her husband camping and birdwatching. She has an active cattle dog and 2 lovely cats. She cherishes the many relationships with clients and their pets that she has made over the years.
Dr. Megan Russnak
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Associate
I grew up on my family’s grain farm in Viking, Alberta. After graduating high school, I attended the University of Alberta where I completed two years of a Bachelor of Science in Animal Health. I was then accepted to the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, where I completed my DVM degree in 2022. I enjoy working with both small and large animals.
In my spare time I like to read, spend time with family and friends, as well as play a variety of sports including hockey, soccer, and volleyball.
Dr. Mallory Goodsman
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Associate
Dr. Mallory Goodmanson graduated from the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 2023, and also completed a Bachelor of Science in Zoology at the University of Calgary in 2019. She grew up in Calgary and became interested in veterinary medicine after getting her horse, Jazz, and getting involved with her local 4H and Pony Clubs. Mallory loves all species and the variety that working in mixed practice offers. When she’s not at the clinic, Mallory enjoys horseback riding, playing board games, crocheting, and reading.

Lorene S.
Registered Veterinary Technologist
Lorene Stone graduated from in 1998 as an Animal Health Technologist. She joined the Edson Vet Clinic in 2001. Lorene has a special interest in equine medicine and is a valuable resource here at the clinic. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her many well bred quarter horses.
Heather A.
Registered Veterinary Technologist
Heather graduated in 1998 from the Animal Health Technology Program. She began working at the Edson Veterinary Clinic in January, 2001. Heather brings a wealth of experience to all aspects of the clinic, but enjoys doing dental procedures the most.
Heather's spare time is spent cuddling cats and reading. She also enjoys camping, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing and painting.
Jodie B.
Registered Veterinary Technologist
Jodie joined our team in October 2018, after moving back to Edson from Edmonton. She graduated from College in 2005 and has worked in small animal clinics ever since! Jodie has 2 dogs Kit and Bridget and a cat named Eli.
Kim L.
Registered Veterinary Technologist
Kim graduated from College in 2007. She spent the next 12 years living in Sylvan Lake and working in a mixed animal practice in Rimbey. Kim moved to Edson with her husband in July of 2019 and has been happily working here since then. Kim has 3 kitties and many fish.

I grew up on my family’s cattle and grain farm east of Rocky Mountain House. I graduated from the Animal Health Technology program at Olds College in 2024 and started working at the Edson Vet Clinic after finishing my practicum here. When I'm not at the clinic, I love doing any kind of farm work and spending with my family and cows.
Janelle H.
Animal Health Technologist
Janelle grew up on her families farm in the Shiningbank Lake Area. She was a member of the Peers 4H Multi Club and showed beef cattle. She graduated from Parkland Composite High School in 2017. She has always had a strong passion for animals and loves being outdoors as much as she can!

Courtney moved to Edson from Manitoba and graduated in 2008 from a veterinary assistant program. She took some time out of the workforce to raise her son but she is very happy to be back working in the clinic! In her spare time Courtney enjoys working with her horses and adventuring!

Receptionist
Krissie moved to a farm Northeast of Edson with her family in 1994. She was introduced to horses at that time and has been addicted ever since. She graduated from Grant MacEwan University in 2008 with a major in Design and Illustration. She enjoys equine photography, creating hand drawn pet portraits and graphic design when she isn't snuggling her 2 cats.

Receptionist
Falon was excited to join the Edson Veterinary team in July 2021. She grew up on her family farm by Niton Junction. She graduated from the Niton Central School in 2000, then entered the workforce in various office administration positions while also raising her 3 children and helping her husband on their family ranch. When she is not working she enjoys barrel racing, riding horses, and hanging out with her family.
